Jr Hi Wrestling season starts

POMEROY–The Pomeroy Middle School Wrestling team has fifteen wrestlers in the program this season, says Coach Fred Knebel. The team wrestled at home last Tuesday against Clarkston, Dayton and Orofino.

Cassie Domras, Annika Winona, Josh Hastings, and Corbin Nelson all went 2-0 for the night.

The team wrestled hard and we are working diligently on takedowns and riding for points. We have wrestlers who have never wrestled before as well as several wrestlers who have many years of experience. This will be an exciting season and the wrestlers are improving each week.
